The cost to integrate SynergyCMS into
a client project are dependent on the setup situation, how many
pages a website needs,
how complicated it is to integrate
SynergyCMS into
the design template, if there's customization needed
for special functionality, etc.
But what we can
say is this... a typical range for most of our small business
clients is from $2000 to $4500 for the complete project.

| Are there any other costs, such as hidden
or monthly fees? |

Not really. You WILL need a web hosting account, of course...
and a domain name. Web hosting is a monthly service, and domains
are
renewed
yearly. However, once we have your website set up for you with SynergyCMS,
that's it! There are no other charges or monthly maintenance
fees required...
unless the client wants additional customizations to the system
down the road.
Over the long run, this saves our clients typically
high maintenance and management costs, whcih really add
up over time. This is a losing proposition, because businesses
fall behind
on updates due to cost and difficulty, and in turn, their
online presence and brand suffer, so they lose customers. SynergyCMS helps
prevent this viscious cycle that is all too common in the
small business environment. |
| How long does it take to
build a website integrating the SynergyCMS platform? |

Again, this depends on the complexity of the project and how
long it takes to create a design template that fully meets the
client's needs. But oftentimes, a range of 3-4 weeks is typical
from start to finish and delivering the finished project to the
client, ready for use. Under certain extenuating circumstances
in the past, we have "fast-tracked" projects in 1 to
2 weeks to meet performance or marketing deadlines for the client. |
| Can I really completely
control and manage all the content on my site through SynergyCMS? |

Yes... that's the point! Part of the beauty of the SynergyCMS system
is that it's completely modular and customizable to the client's
needs. All the editable "content" areas
allow the client to make updates and manage their website as
often as they please. This helps maintain an updated
website that is filled with current information and related content,
leading to more
visitations and increased exposure in general. |
| How easy is it to make updates
and add new information in the SynergyCMS
editor? |

Indeed... updates can literally be made in seconds. The integrated
WYSIWYG editor in SynergyCMS mimics
the interface in a typical word processor, such as MS Word. There
are buttons to bold or underline text,
buttons for adding images or videos or tables for data, changing
text size and color and font, building tables for layout, and
many other options for managing your content. If you have the
basic
ability
to work
with a word
processor or email program, you should be fine working with SynergyCMS. |

nice with search engines? |

Perfectly. Part of the reason we created SynergyCMS was
to be able to integrate powerful search engine optimization techniques
into
the CMS experience.
Typically, the limited functionality of traditional CMS systems
does not easily allow for SEO techniqeus, and
most CMS platforms
do very little to boost SEO efforts. However, SynergyCMS allows
full SEO optimization of websites in conjunction with its CMS
abilities... a "holy grail" for small business clients. |
| What are the hosting platform requirements
for SynergyCMS? |

SynergyCMS runs
on standard linux-based hosting platforms on top of a mySQL /
PHP backend. It uses standards-based xhtml and
javascript libraries. We offer web hosting services to our clients
in order to streamline installation, setup, maintenance, and
update issues. Although not required, We STRONGLY recommend using
our hosting services, and offer market-competitive rates. In
the end, we've found that it provides
for
less headaches...
both for us, and you! |
| Exactly how customizable is SynergyCMS?
Are there limitations? |

There are practically no limitations with SynergyCMS.
Due to it's highly customizable and modular approach, almost
anything
can be accomplished for the client project. Not to brag, but
we've even managed to impress ourselves on occasion with some
of the creative and powerful uses for the SynergyCMS platform. |
| What is the typical project
process for a SynergyCMS website? |

Typically, we first consult with the client and help design
their new website template based on any existing corporate
identity, color scheme and/or logo they may already have. We
also commonly offer design services to refresh these pieces
for the client if needed. After the "look" of the
template is finalized, we confirm which "pages" the
client needs on their new website, such as "Homepage", "Contact", "Menu", "Events", "Job
Listings", "Products", etc.
This new design template is sliced and programmed into web
pages, integrating the navigation links and the SynergyCMS platform
into the various
pages and editable regions for each page. At this point, the
website is ready for the client to start entering their information.
Sometimes, we enter the information and images for the client
to help them get started, and they choose to manage their content
from that basis forward.
